My Smile
Everyday I wake up with a smile on my face, because I
know that I will be an inspiration today.
A smile that is brighter then any sun could shine.
And I walk hard with pride because this smile is mine.
I look to my left and see a homeless guy.
I look to my right and see a 14 year old, who can’t
stop her child's cry.
I look at myself and hold my head real high.
I pick up my feet and continue my stride.
I see an old lady who walks with a cane.
I see a young man who has lost both of his legs.
My smile touches them both because they pick up their
eyes.
Then I continue on my path to touch someone else's life...
See, life is too short to worry about done things.
That’s why I try not to stress over the fact that
I was born with HIV.
